Making Books More Accessible to Everyone
A community library on wheels, taking books to schools, villages and homes - and now online.
Who we are
A Library That Comes to You
Palavi Mobile Library - Palavi Rural Central & Mobile Library - is run by the Palavi Charitable Trust from Barshi in Solapur district, Maharashtra, as a social service rather than a business.
Instead of waiting for readers to find a library, we take the library to them. Our branded book vans visit schools and villages with shelves full of books, and this website lets anyone search the same collection and borrow online.
प्रत्येक हातात पुस्तक, प्रत्येक गावात ग्रंथालय
